Church Profile Founded in April, 1993 by Pastor Billy G. Dixon and First Lady Loretta, At Thy Word Ministries Church of God in Christ is located in Oakland, California. The church was converted from a well known family owned fish market, to a place where our LORD is continually creating fishers of men.
Our Pastor Pastor Dixon began preaching at the age of twenty-five. He was nurtured and developed in the gospel through the ranks of the Church of God in Christ, preaching throughout California to whosoever would hear, and as the Spirit of God led. Pastor Dixon has allowed
God to transform him from a well known entrepenur in the Oakland area into an awesome preacher and teacher with a heart for winning souls. Our Beliefs

Our mission is to be examples of JESUS CHRIST in our daily lives, through the power of faith, prayer, praise, worship, witnessing, caring, giving, and abundant agape love even as our LORD did and still does through every born again believer.
To allow the Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us into all truth, so that we can be the light of the world for Christ’s sake. To be fishers of men not just in our church and community, but also in our city, our state, our nation, and even more throughout the world God has given us dominion over.
